Today we didn't do much. But tomorrow we have the Valentines party, and the math test is also then. Today's schedule was: Reading, P.E., math, lunch, writing, science, then the sale. In math, we worked on the enrichment packet, thinking cap, or homework from two days ago alone for 20 minutes, then with a partner for 20 minutes. AND THEN, we picked two problems to do for 20 minutes. Today was an awesome day. Peace Out!! Today we had our theme 9 test. Today's schedule was: Reading theme test, P.E., math, second step, lunch, writing, then social studies. In math, we worked on thinking cap with a partner (if you wanted to) or independently. We are only supposed to work on it for 20 minutes. Then in writing, we got more information on our individual reports. If you didn't finish your response to literature. ASK YOUR CHILD for more information on our day. Today was definitely a typical Tuesday. Peace Out!!

Also a reminder: Valentine parties are coming up. ASK YOUR CHILD to get a head start. Last, we started working on our report today. Today was an awesome day. Peace Out!!
Today we got at our extra ten minute recess and got to play in the snow outside. Today's schedule was: Art, reading, P.E., math, computer lab, lunch, read aloud, social studies, genius hour, then extra recess. In art, we did more weaving. Then in social studies, the groups are still working on our unit project (if you want to know more about what it is, ASK YOUR CHILD). When we had computer lab time, if you wanted to work on your response to literature or blog, you went to the lab with Mr. Corry. if you wanted to work on homework, you stayed in the classroom. Today was an awesome day. Peace Out!!
Today was the OFFICIAL spelling bee. The winner was....Jake Stevenson (from 5C)! That was in the morning. Today's schedule was: Spelling bee, P.E., math, writing, lunch, read aloud, science, then auction. Just a reminder: Bring your snow gear for tomorrow just in case. In P.E., we did jump rope activity's with partners. Then, in science, we worked more on our jet toys with our group. Basically everyone is one testing the balloon motor. Today was an awesome day. Peace Out!!
Today it was snowing almost ALL day. That is why we had indoor recess. Today's schedule was: Reading, P.E., math, second step, SOME writing, lunch, read aloud, more writing, then social studies. In second step, we learned about handling anxiety. Mrs. Bibb said tomorrow we will do an activity about it. In P.E., we were doing some jump rope for heart things. One thing we did was we all had jump ropes and all jumped regularly. Then, if you mess up, you have to sit down. The last one standing is the winner. ASK YOUR CHILD if you want to know who the winner was (I'll give you a clue... it's the person who wrote this). Today was an awesome day. Peace Out!!

Today was the new student's first day BACK at Wilder-Waite. His name is Clay. He was at Wilder-Waite in third grade, then moved in fourth grade, and is now back for fifth. He is happy to be back. Today's schedule was reading, P.E., math, second step, lunch, read aloud, science, then auction. We didn't have much of a LESSON in reading because Mr. Corry accidentally did two days worth of lesson's yesterday. But that just gave us more reading time. In science, we did more jet toy stuff. ASK YOUR CHILD for more details. Today was an awesome day. Peace Out!!!
